The Kabos Magic Dip System Titanium manicure set includes all the essential products that allow you to perform a professional titanium manicure in the comfort of your home.
What is titanium manicure?
Titanium manicure is an innovative, non-invasive nail styling method that does not require the use of a UV lamp. It is a system that ensures nail durability for 3-4 weeks. This method involves applying a base that acts as glue for titanium powder, followed by dipping the nails into special powders. Titanium nails are strong, healthy, and resistant to damage, while also not weighing down the natural nail plate.
Contents of the set:
- Titanium manicure base (Base Gel) – prepares the nails for powder application.
- Titanium manicure top (Top Gel) – provides high shine and durability to the styling.
- Activator – accelerates the curing process.
- Nail preparation solution (Nail Prep) – cleans the nail plate and prepares it for further steps.
- Brush Cleaner – brush cleaning agent.
- Titanium manicure powder (01 Clear) – clear powder for the base.
- Colored powder for titanium manicure (85 Amethyst Lavender) – colored powder in lavender amethyst shade.
- Colored powder for titanium manicure (89 Cotton Candy) – sweet, pink powder.
- 3 spare top brushes – allows for precise application of the top coat on the nails.
How to use:
Step 0: Disinfect your hands, file your nails to the desired shape. Push back cuticles with a drill, pusher, or wooden stick, then gently buff the nail plate with a block. Do not use cuticle softening liquids.
Step 1: Apply NAIL PREP to the prepared nail plate and wait for it to evaporate.
Step 2: Apply a thin layer of BASE GEL to half of the nail plate, then dip the nail in CLEAR POWDER. Gently remove excess powder with a brush.
Step 3: Apply a thin layer of BASE GEL to the entire nail plate (leaving a gap from the cuticles), dip in CLEAR POWDER and remove excess powder.
Step 4: Apply ACTIVATOR to all nails and let dry for 2 minutes.
Step 5: Smooth the surface of the nail with a block. If necessary, use a file to refine the nail shape, then remove excess dust with a brush.
Step 6: Apply BASE GEL to the entire nail plate, then dip into your chosen color of Magic Dip System powder (e.g., 85 Amethyst Lavender or 89 Cotton Candy). Remove excess powder with a brush.
Step 7: Apply BASE GEL again to the entire nail plate and dip into the colored powder. Repeat this step on all nails, remembering to remove excess powder.
Step 8: Apply ACTIVATOR and let dry for 2 minutes.
Step 9: Smooth the surface of the nail with a file or block, being careful not to file the color away. Remove dust with a brush.
Step 10: Apply ACTIVATOR to the nails, let dry for 3 minutes, then wipe the nails with a lint-free dry cotton pad.
Step 11: Apply the first layer of TOP GEL. Apply quickly, without pressing the brush against the nail. Before dipping the brush again, wipe it on a dry cotton pad. Let dry.
Step 12: Apply a second layer of TOP GEL more carefully, but also without pressing the brush. Let dry for at least 2 minutes. Optionally, apply a third layer for extra shine.
Step 13: Use your favorite Kabos oil to complete the styling.
Removing titanium manicure:
Use a file to remove the top coat. Soak cosmetic pads in acetone, place on the nails, and wrap them in aluminum foil. Leave for about 15 minutes. Then remove the foil, wipe the nails with an acetone cotton pad, and gently remove any remaining titanium with a wooden stick.
You can also use a milling machine with a W2 bit. Be sure not to drill too long in one spot to avoid feeling heat.
