There should always be a bit or a replacement tip in the handle. If you happen to leave the handle without a bit, you must use force to release the lock to position R or the open padlock icon. The first release of the handle lock may require force; after some time, the handle will operate lighter. High-quality bits are used for removing hybrid nail polish, gel, or acrylic, as well as for pedicures and cuticle removal. The inserts are designed to fit any drill.
