Special forms are used for applying acrylic and gel on nails. How to apply gel on the form:

Clean fingers and nails with an antiseptic.
Perform a hygienic manicure: cut the cuticles and remove the dead skin.
File the free edge of the nail plate.
Remove the shine from the surface of the nail using a buffer.
Dust off the nail with a brush.
Apply a de-oiler to remove grease from the nail plate.
Apply a base coat (primer).
Cover the natural nail plate with a thin layer of base gel.
Cure the nails in a UV lamp for less than 2-3 minutes (depending on the power of the lamp).
Place the forms using a metal plate and tubes to support the 'arch'.
After placing the form, ensure it has a nice side and front bend.
A form without a bend will look like a trampoline, and too much incline will create nails resembling a beak.
