Special forms are used for applying acrylic and gel to nails. How to apply gel on the form:

Clean fingers and nails with antiseptic.
Perform a hygienic manicure: trim the cuticles and remove the hardened skin.
File the free edge of the nail plate.
Remove the shine from the surface of the nail using a buffer.
Brush off dust from the nail.
Apply a de-greaser to remove grease from the nail plate.
Apply a base coat (primer).
Cover the natural nail plate with a thin layer of base gel.
Dry the nails under a UV lamp for less than 2-3 minutes (depending on the power of the lamp).
Place the forms using a metal plate and tubes to support the "arch".
After placing the form, ensure it has a nice side and top curve.
A form without a curve will look like a trampoline, and too steep an angle will create nails resembling a beak.
